Druid wisdom covered several areas:

  • tree-lore, animal-lore and herb-lore

  • seasonal celebrations

  • spirituality and our sense of ancestry

Philip Carr-Gomm has been leader of the Order of Bards Ovates & Druids for over twenty years.

Philip is the author of many books on the Druid Tradition, including 'Druid Mysteries' which shows the life-enhancing beliefs and practices of this spiritual path have much to offer our 21st-century world. After twenty years' of writing about Druidry, he's broadened his scope from the topic of Druidry, with its contemporary environmental relevance, to include the history of magic in England in 'The Book of English Magic', the subject of sacred sites in the lavishly illustrated 'Sacred Places', and the subject of nudity in religion, politics and popular culture in 'A Brief History of Nakedness.' You can find his author website at http://philipcarrgomm.druidry.org and his blog at http://philipcarrgomm.wordpress.com

This evening talk could be useful as preparation for the workshop Men's Business the day after, also by Philip.

This talk is limited to 20 places to ensure comfort, so booking is essential, please call ASAP to secure a place. Booking closes 2 weeks before the session date.
