A Spindle of Wild Waters Day Workshop: Saturday 16th July 2011, 9.30pm to 4.30pm, tickets £68, includes lunch. Led by: Renowned Dartmoor artist, writer and musician, Carolyn Hillyer :: A workshop journey for women :: |
|
We will explore the fierce courage, ancient wisdom and responsibility that define our identity as wild spinsters, and look at how we may bind the white, grey, blue, and green of wellspring, river, pool and ocean to enrich and deepen our women's mythologies. Carolyn will
also teach the making of beautiful willow spindle-rattles, which we will
use to create a celebration with song and dance to share around our
evening fire. The evening
fire ceremony is open to non-workshop participants - all welcome.
