Exploring the Male Role in Modern Paganism

Day Workshop: Saturday 14th May 2011, 10.00 till 4.00, tickets £68.00, includes lunch

Led by Phil Holmes

:: A 'men-only' event ::

In the men's house we will consider the traditions of masculine and feminine spirituality.

"At the start there was just the energy of consciousness alone and so began the journey of the universe from the darkness into the light and this is how each and every one of our individual journeys commence."

So this day's experience will begin in the darkness, the primordial place where we dream our most prophetic dreams and hold our most secret fears close.

During the day we will be exploring the masculine Druidic tradition and where it sits in relation to the feminine traditions. We will be experiencing and learning the balance between the two and attempting to integrate the sacred masculine back in to the modern pagan tradition.

Through story we will find our place, we will journey and as we enter the light we will prepare the ritual and sacrifices to complete the day, ending in the light, outside, around a fire holding ritual to cast off and celebrate the masculine energy surrounding us.
